Now that we’ve had Memorial day, I’m finally getting excited for long days by the pool and celebrating my melanin in the sun as much as possible.
This weekend, I celebrated my friend Oscar’s birthday at our friend Kyle and Andy’s home in The Hamptons. Last summer was my first time staying in the Hampton’s There’s something special about the style aesthetic that goes along with places like this. I wont lie… I love it!
I think it’s super simple, clean and classic… most of all it’s comfortable– at least the way I do it.
That’s the fun part about style, you can make it what you want. I don’t feel like the typical Hamptons girl, but I can put my twist on a style I’ve always loved. Even more fun– I found plus size options to help me achieve my Hampton’s style.
Because I knew we’d spend most of our time in bathing suits by the pool, I didn’t pack much.
Here’s what I wore in the Hamptons:
- Plus Size White Jeans
- J Crew “New York” Sweatshirt (Size L)
- Big Sunnies
- Vintage Inspired Plus Size Swimsuit
- White Plus Size Shirt Dress (also used as a cover up)
- Caftans for men
- Plus Size Caftans for women
Happy Birthday, Oscar!
