Concerts are one of my favorite things to attend. I’m basically a walking jukebox, so any chance to see my favorite artists live is a real treat for me.
A few of you have emailed me asking for outfit ideas for concerts from Beyonce to Carrie Underwood and everyone in between. So today I’m putting five outfits together for you that you can wear to a concert.
Keep in mind, that when it comes to my concert style, my focus is cute and comfortable, I want to stand for hours, jump around and dance, so you wont see me in heels. If you like to wear heels to concerts, just swap them in when you re-create these outfits.

I just can not get behind the first outfit. The crop top is fine but the shorts (I think they’re shorts) look awkward. Sorry! Just my opinion!

My favorite is the first one although I am not brave enough to wear a crop top, but I love the cut of the capri pants. I carry all my weight in my tummy so the shape of the capris would make my legs look long and make my tummy look proportionate. I also like the denim on denim (a.k.a Texas Tuxedo).

So I JUST rocked outfit #5 today to go to the movies with my girls and I love the all denim!
I love them all I can see how they all go with each event. I love harlem panys evem though im short. so im going to the afro punk festival and i even have a wig lol. I want to be comfortable but also jump around i need a short jumper. Any suggestions?

My favorite is the denim jeans w/ duster and T shirt. They all look pretty. I also like the last one with the animal print maxi but I know I’d be too hot with the length of the dress, lol.
Love them all! I started wearing skirts and dresses to concerts/worship nights and in a crowded stadium you can BREATHE. It’s just amazing. Plus, waving my skirt around is like a dance prop when I’m really feelin it ?

What I want to know is….what would you wear to the opera. Yes! The Opera. As a singer and choral director I am totally spoiled to go to the Metropolitan on a fairly regular basis. But I have to tell you – as a person whose head is deep in mainstream fashion, I get a little lost as to what in my repertoire would fit when I hit the Met. I hate wearing suits there – errg, it’s church, not a business convention; but I’d like to remain hip without the ripped denim (oh, lord it needs to be banished from high art). What to do without the ruffles? Heidi, NYC.
