What I Wore to the VH1 Hip Hop Honors

If you follow me on snapchat, you were with me inside the VH1 Hip Hop Honors.

I was so grateful to be in the building while the ladies of Hip Hop were honored. For me, the best part was seeing Missy Elliott. When Missy came on the scene, the game changed for me. The first time I saw one of her music videos, I felt my confidence swell. I love her so much!

Anyway, a lot of you were asking about the dress I wore for the event. This was more than a concert, it was a red carpet event, so I didn’t want to be too dressed up or dressed down.

I also get a little wary of purchasing formal dresses, I feel like I don’t get as much consistent wear out of them. So, for this event I decided to look at Rent the Runway’s website.

I was able to keep the dress for four days and I had a free return shipping bag. There’s also an unlimited rental plan you can sign up for here.

The best parts that I captured on snapchat were when Lil’ Kim sat in the row ahead of me, turned around and waved.

And also when I was *this close* to Omari Hardwick from Power… SWOON!

Did you watch the Hip Hop Honors?

I want to show appreciation to this writer for rescuing me from this matter. As a result of checking through the internet and obtaining solutions that were not helpful, I assumed my life was done. Being alive without the presence of approaches to the problems you have fixed by way of the write-up is a crucial case, and ones that would have adversely affected my entire career if I had not come across your web page. Your own personal mastery and kindness in playing with a lot of things was excellent. I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t encountered such a solution like this. I am able to now relish my future. Thanks very much for the professional and sensible help. I won’t be reluctant to endorse your web sites to anyone who should receive assistance on this subject matter.
