*Yawn* My winter style has me bored.
This polar vortex is forcing me to dress for function more than fashion so I feel like I’m in an endless rotation of black tights, boots and big coats. Augh.
To fight the winter fashion blues, I went shopping at my apartment… never underestimate what you might find by shopping in your own closet. I took one of my favorite spring dresses and layered it with a thick cable knit sweater. The cool/rich colors were exactly what I needed to shake things up.

The preppy style and bright colors was exactly what I needed. I finished the look off with a fresh bright manicure during the the SimplyBe Spring 2014 launch event.

Will do. I’ve done it before with a maxi dress and a light sweater in the spring but never would have thought to try the idea with a winter sweater.
