What do you normally get from Amazon?
For the longest time, Amazon was my go-to spot for paper towels and electronics.
But, lately, I’ve been clicking around in Amazon’s fashion section and I’m kind of obsessed. There are a lot of plus size fashion hidden gems on Amazon, so I thought I’d show you a few of my favorites:

This dress is so pretty to me! I love the vintage feel and the soft coloring… it’s from a seller that I wouldn’t have know about if I didn’t find them on Amazon. Today I’m pulling five plus size fashion hidden gems out of Amazon for you, click “start slide show” and arrow your way through for my favorite picks!
My one and only Amazon fashion adventure resulted in a bathing suit where the bottom was 3 sizes too small and the top had a clasp that looked like furniture hardware.
It’s funny that you mention the major sizing deficit on Amazon, because it is a major issue for many plus-size shoppers looking for fashion forward clothing at a low price. Unfortunately, with Amazon clothing, you’re most often dealing with ‘Asian Sizing’. I say this because a vast majority of plus size clothing sellers on Amazon are offering Asian-made knockoffs of other designs on the internet. I recall ordering a beautiful lacey tunic in an XXXL, on Amazon, and when I got it there was no way I could get that thing over my head let alone my shoulders. Clearly it was made for a very petite juniors size. After doing a bunch of research, I learned that Asian Sizing is so far from reality that it is pointless to order anything from them. Their idea of an XXXXXXXXL is an American size 10…so you really have to do a ton of research, read reviews, and formulate a general consensus about the item you want to purchase, on Amazon, before going through the buy/return process. Note also that many of the fabrics used to make these items are the lowest quality jersey, or lining material. This has been my experience ordering clothing from Amazon…it’s definitely hit or miss.

Have you ever used Polyvore? I have been swept up in this app for the past 2 weeks and on there it directs you to Amazon for a lot of the pieces. I had no idea either, but I have plans to buy a pair of shoes and a top from them. I have Amazon Prime so it is becoming my go to place these days. The other day I was going to send my daughter some flowers as a congrats on a new job and after looking at prices for flowers, I decided to go to Amazon. I found her a nice Vegan Snack box that she could keep at work , it was much cheaper, got there in 2 days and she loved it a lot more than flowers.
