Cute Spring Sneaker Round Up | Big Feet and Small

Do you follow my snapchat?

Well, over the weekend I unboxed three pairs of sneakers for Spring (check them out below).

Let me rewind… I’m new to the sneaker game, I’ve been rocking chuck taylors for as long as I can remember. But I’ve been watching this new style of bringing sneakers into a more dressy outfit and I’m loving it.

So, this Spring I’ll be exploring that style. Here’s my first look, what do you think?

Here’s my first attempt at a cute sneaker outfit, what do you think?

I promised my snapchat fam that I’d post all three of the sneakers I ordered, PLUS a bonus shoe that you don’t know exists but you absolutely need in your spring shoe collection, so let’s begin my spring shoe round up!

And now for the random shoe that will change the game for a few of us.

You see, the way my feet are set up… I can’t really walk around in completely flat shoes. I need my flats to have some sort of support like the sneakers I’ve listed above. But I don’t always want to wear sneakers.

I made a wonderful discovery, a brand of shoes called Vionic that have orthodic support built inside. I ordered these slip on shoes for when I’m running errands and most importantly when I’m flying; these shoes are supportive enough for me to run through the airport, but easy to slip on and off when going through security!

Note: these are mens shoes, so select your size carefully. Happy Shoe Shopping!

  1. I am SO happy that sneakers with “outfits” are currently having a moment. I’ve been a fan since the 90s, wearing little white keds w floral dresses and denim skirts. Now that I’m older and heavier, my feet REALLY appreciate a comfortable shoe and for years I’ve *really* struggled with the comfort vs looks debate. Comfort always won (yay comfort!) but I never felt good about the look. Now I can have both!

I think your denim/stripe/skater skirt with sneakers look is UH-dorable. Love the little pops of pink in the bandana and footie socks.

Be sure to let us know how the Vionics work out!

  3. Cece I am so happy you mentioned Vionic. I love them!
Amazon has a bunch of women styled Vionic “flats” with built in arch supports as does 6pm.com. Check it out and let me know what you think.

  5. Great idea about airplane-friendly shoes. These are cute, and provide way more support than ballet flats.
