How to Prevent Chub Rub: Bandelettes

One of my greatest accomplishments has been conquering inner thigh chafing (aka chub rub). From my first post on how to prevent inner thigh chafing until now, I will always be looking for ways to stay comfortable while wearing skirts and dresses. Today I’m adding another product to my list of chub rub fighters: Bandelettes! Are you the type of person who wears shorts under her dresses? I do that sometimes, but honestly it’s not always the most feminine feeling. Depending on the outfit or the weather, sometimes shorts can rob me of the easy breezy feeling I’m looking for. Here’s where Bandelettes can help! Bandelettes are these adorable bands that you can slip over your thighs under any dress or skirt.…

Travel Diary: Cuba

I just got back from Cuba and I miss it terribly already… I’d like to share some highlights of my trip with you! Riding in Cars with Boys I am going to confess that I became obsessed with the vintage convertibles in Cuba. Most people get one for an hour or so to tour the city. I got one three different times. Sometimes just to take me back home and sometimes for more lengthy adventures. The drivers were always so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. One driver assumed I was obsessed with Beyonce (accurate) so he kept offering to take me to the places she had been… I loved every minute of it. 7 Perfect Plus Size Puffer Coats

When I first moved to New York City from California I refused to purchase a puffer coat. “I’m puffy enough already!” I’d say to myself… “I’m not adding extra inches to my body.” Thankfully this year I cam to my senses: being body positive means that adding a few inches to my body so that I can be warm in winter is a GOOD DECISION! So, I shook off the bad body mentality that was keeping me freezing and ordered my first official puffer coat. Best. Decision. Ever! I left 80 degree weather in California and came back to a snowstorm in NYC, luckily my new puffer coat was waiting for me when I arrived. I put it on and…
