My Favorite Pieces from LOFT Plus

I’m really proud to be working with LOFT on the launch of their plus size line.

Two very special things about LOFT plus I’d like to share:

LOFT plus is a true extension of the LOFT that we’ve always known and loved. The plus size pieces are exactly like the pieces in the straight size section. I personally am always disappointed when the plus size version of a line is more matronly or frumpy than the skinny version, so having the exact same designs is a very big deal for me. Hooray!

Also, LOFT plus isn’t just online anymore, head over to LOFT.com to see if the LOFT store near you carries plus. If your local store doesn’t carry LOFT plus yet, be patient and keep shopping online.

Here is a list of everything I tried on in the video above:

A Week in My Life: On Tour with LOFT in Boston

I’m a firm believer that taking care of yourself. Health as a practice is extremely important to me– I’m more concerned with doing things that keep me strong and healthy than how I look or what the scale says. So it is time to move forward and get back into my routine of things.

For me, this means getting back into the gym, karaoke with friends, reorganizing my closet… basically, anything that is going to help bring order back into my life.

theCURVYcon 2018: What I Wore

Thank you to everyone who supported theCURVYcon this year!

As Co-Founder of theCURVYcon, I am speechless sometimes as I watch it grow.

I mean… Vogue did a story about us, what more can I say? Is this even real life??

The other day someone told me that I shouldn’t be surprised at all the press, attention and support that I’m getting because I work hard and I deserve it. While that may be true, there are many women, especially women of color, who are working hard, yet they don’t get the support they deserve. So, I can’t take it for granted… I’m forever grateful.

Travel Blog: My First Trip to Martha’s Vineyard

This summer I rented a house on Martha’s Vineyard with my girlfriends. A lot of my friends went to really fancy schools in Boston, so they’ve been going to Martha’s Vineyard since undergrad, but this was my first time.

I had zero expectations coming into the trip, I just knew I would be on a charming island with my friends. In the end the 7 days we spent on the island is my favorite thing I’ve done all summer.

Martha’s Vineyard is nice because some areas feel like the woods and some areas feel like the beach. I really liked being able to tap into both of those vibes each day.

Before I jump into things to do, here are some quick things I learned.
