A Week in my life is becoming a favorite video series on my youtube channel. Each week I bring you a long and show you what its like to be a single, girl boss trying to live a positive and purposeful life in New York City.

This has been an exciting week, for so many different reasons. watch the video above to see it all unfold!

Starting with my first red carpet invitation to the Bohemian Rhapsody movie premiere! So glad I got to walk the red carpet, or in this case, the purple carpet with my day-one bestie Alex. He taught me all I know about Queen, so it was a full-circle moment to be able to experience this with him. It was also his birthday week, so it was nice to catch up with him to celebrate.

As you know, I’ve been in the process of deciding where to move and did a total cleanse of my closet (should I do a closet sale?).

Already this has been an amazing week, but to cap everything off, I was approved for my apartment!

I still can’t believe it. I get emotional just thinking about it. I am so excited for what this means for my life, and for the content I can create for you in this new space!

This whole experience has been a practice of faith, trusting and letting go of what I think is best for my life so that blessings can come.

I can’t wait to share more of this experience with you soon, maybe I’ll do an apartment tour or decorating tips for new spaces.

Any advice on moving into a new space? I’m starting from scratch so I’ve got nothing but possibilities!

  1. I am so excited for you. As far as moving to another place, I am going through that process now. Its been two years but I am the type who likes to be settled but only if I feel complete. I always have a housewarming well apartment warming. I like to drink and eat so it an excuse to make a housewarming wishlist that i sent along with my text invitations lol . My cat and I love getting things. I make sure I include her also in the list lol I also always buy me something at least once a month for my place. Weird , yes ik but its a great feeling.

  2. I just moved into my own condo and girl, endless possibilities has kinda got me frozen. Some of my friends used spatial design services offered by places like West Elm and Crate and Barrel. A specialist comes in and measures your space, giving you suggestions for layout using their company’s products. You get to keep the layout and can use their suggestions to help you search for comparable pieces at more affordable places. The Crate and Barrel service is $100 but they then give you a $100 credit to their store so it’s sorta free. Good luck! We’ll be designing together 🙂
