Plus Size Workout Video: My Swim Routine

When I’m looking for low impact cardio, swimming is my favorite work out.

I swim 1-3 times per week and I love how it makes me feel. Because swimming is a full body work out, 30 minutes in the pool can make me feel the same level of intensity as an hour on the treadmill.

When I’m in the water, I do much more than swim laps, so I created a plus size workout video for you showing my swim routine.

Plus Size Workout Video: Two Minute Plank (with Modification!)

Here’s a little #PSPfit Monday Motivation for us! I think by know we all know that holding a plank is great for a strong core. What I’ve learned is that it’s totally okay to take breaks in between your plank cycles, but you want to try to keep your abs engaged to get the most out of your planking. Free Workout Videos: How to Get Fit with Bad Knees!

I get emails every week asking for tips on how to work out with “bad knees”. There are lots of jumping jacks, lunges and squats in my plus size workout videos, but I totally understand that not everyone can do those things. Today I posted on my facebook page that working out makes me feel loved and valuable. My body is worth love and good treatment at any size, health and fitness is the best way for me to do that. Ditching a baggy T-shirt and wearing cute plus size workout clothes, is my way of reminding myself that my fitness is just as important as anyone else in the gym.
