3.) Sleep

Over the last year I’ve been using my DVR to record my favorite shows. Why? I can’t stay up past my bedtime! I’ve gone from being the girl who is awake at 1am for no reason, to being the girl who does her nightly skin routine and is in bed as early as possible.

Second to drinking water, sleep is also a necessary component of adopting a healthier lifestyle. Sleep, or the lack thereof,  can have so many life-altering effects on your health. Healthline says that sleep can help to improve your immune system. Allowing your body to rest, allows it heal and flush out any toxins you may have in your system.

The more rested I am, the easier it is to wake up early and hit the gym first thing (but you don’t have to worry about that right now)

    Thanks for the inspiration CeCe! At this time of the year everyone is thinking about getting healthier and this really helps. I too have osteoarthritis in my knees and have started taking glucosamine, but I could not figure out for the life of me why my lips were so dry all of a sudden until I read your post. You’re always dropping the gems!
